HOPE

I hope as I get older I'll be careful about what I say.
Please help me LORD not to offend someone today.

I pray I won't say anything that might hurt the feelings of my family or my friends.
I've made a lot of mistakes when I was younger. I hope I do better in the end.

I'm thankful for JESUS shedding his precious blood upon that cross.
Thankful for his love that keeps me from being lost.

I don't want to be mad at anyone or even hold a grudge.
Someone else is coming HE will be the judge.

Sometimes when we get older, we like to gripe a lot.
Please help me to always be thankful for what I've got.

I'm thankful for each day the LORD gives me to see.
The beauty of all his creations that he made for me.

I see the world changing.
It doesn't seem to be the same.
I hope the younger generation don't forget his name.

The best advice I can give to help them through the day.
Open up your heart to JESUS and take the time to pray.
