TAKE THE GIFT

When I was a child,
Growing up in the church.
Doing my best to please Him,
To earn my worth.

Thank you God for grace,
When I fall on my face.
I can hear you whisper,
Get back in the race.

There are so many Christians,
Trying to follow law after law.
Satan delights in this state of mind,
Knowing that we would fall.

We can learn from the apostle Paul,
Salvation is not in the law.
It is allowing Christ to work through me,
Leading me to eternity.

Thank you God for grace,
One day I'll see your face
And feel your embrace.
Thank you, God!
